$2.99 Quantity:
WWII era replica issued from 1940-43.
2nd chain not required. Fragile and easily broken, not compatible with silencers, doesn't fit over large heads, for display only.
After the cotton cord dogtag necklaces used in the 1930's, and before the more-familiar beaded ball-chain necklace was first issued in 1944, the military issued dogtags with these M1940 Identification tag necklace during WWII from 1940 to 1943.
Our replica M1940 Dogtag chain consists of a 24β³ length of curbchain connected in a loop by a jump ring. From this ring is attached a J-Hook and short 3β³ length of curbchain. At the end of this chain is another jump ring and J-Hook. Dogtags (sold separately) are attached to each of the J-hooks (also know as Sister-Hooks or twin hooked catches).
This chain is an essential piece of dogtag history for shadow-boxes and re-enactors.
